Al Shemam — Qibla

Al Shemam is a traditional Kuwaiti restaurant in Souq Al-Mubarakiya, serving fresh seafood, Kuwaiti rice dishes and Iranian-style grills. The menu takes in grilled and fried fish, mutabbaq, shrimp dishes, kebabs, tikka and freshly baked bread. Seating is casual, indoors and outdoors, with the outdoor tables suiting the cooler months, and the second floor holds a women’s section and a family section. Baby chairs are available.
