12 Chutneys

12 Chutneys is an Indian restaurant and café on Salhiya Street, Kuwait City, with a chaat and snack menu: pani puri, papdi chaat, samosa and aloo tikki chaat prepared at the table, vada pav, and weekend specials such as dabeli and pav bhaji fondue. Most chaat plates cost 1.5 to 3.5 KD, and vegan versions are available for a small extra charge.

Masala chai is poured at the table from a hand-painted pot, and ordering four chaats or more comes with a free pot. Seating is in booths inside and in a covered arcade outside the door, with a swing and a tuk-tuk.
