Claiming your business
If you own or are authorized to represent a listed business, you can claim its listing through our claim form. Only an authorized person (owner, manager, or an authorized representative) may claim a business.
Proof of ownership
To protect business owners, claiming may ask you to upload a document that shows you represent the business (for example, a commercial licence, certificate, or official document). This document is:
- used only to verify your claim;
- stored privately and securely;
- never shown publicly and never posted on the listing; and
- not accessible by a public web link.
How verification works
At launch, verification is manual: our team reviews your submission, confirms your authorization, and updates the listing’s status. Once approved, you receive an owner account to manage your listing from your dashboard.
Requesting a correction
Anyone can request a correction to a listing’s details. Email hello@q8tly.com with the listing and what should change, and we’ll review it.
Removal and takedown requests
You can ask us to remove or amend a listing — for example, a business owner who doesn’t want to be listed, or a request about legal, copyright, or privacy concerns. Email hello@q8tly.com. For legal/copyright/privacy takedown requests, we aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 5 business days.
Our discretion
We may edit, decline, remove, merge, or update listings and claims to keep Q8tly accurate, lawful, safe, and free of spam or abuse.
